könnte man zu Macbeth alle Infos hier sammeln?D a ich bemerkt habe ,dass es vielen von euch so geht wie mir ,dass sie zu Macbeth (Shakespeare) recht wenig Material haben. Es wäre ganz gut wenn wir alles zusammen legen.

Hallo, also wir haben nur nochmal kurz das Thema "tragic hero" angesprochen. Dazu haben wir aufgeschrieben, dass es den eigentlich nur in einem Drama gibt.
-> hero dies -> fatal flaw
-> Macbeth: able soldier, honest (and other positive qualities), noble
-> transformation through Lady Macbeth -> murderer, dishonest, insane

Dann noch etwas zu love and happiness:
- relationship between Macbeth (MB) and Lady Macbeth (Lady MB) -> creates most of the actions, reactions, moods, feelings and attitudes
- relationship was not always that good: MB decides that he doesn't want to murder Duncan. Lady MB instead says that he's being a coward and that he should think about it again. Throughout the scene Lady MB convinces her husband that he should kill Duncan and he finally agrees.
--> in a way MB trusts his wife and she can influence him
--> this action makes Lady MB unpopular since she encourages her husband to murder someone
- similar action takes place in another scene: MB wants to stop what he is doing although he already killed Duncan. MB felt very guilty but Lady MB lead him down the path of evil
--> they're different: MB wans to do the greater good; Lady MB wants the most evil
--> evil prevails; sense of darkness in relationship
- sometimes they have the same opinion: when they talk about the feast which is going to take place in their castle
- joy of happiness since MB has become king
- they're free of guilt (in theit opinion) and full of love
- relationship took a turn to the best and at the same time to the worst
- both: evil inside in a loving exterior -> step towards darkness
- turn to good: they are happy
- though, the evil side will hit them back
--> MB is visited by ghost of Banquo
- Lady MB would lie to all their guests only to protect MB's secret
- MB is overrun with greed
- even his soldiers left him
--> he should feel alone and ashamed but he is so clouded by evil that he still carries on and feels that he could rule Scotland
- their relationship directly affects each others decisions and actions
- audience knows that as soon as MB and Lady MB get into a conversation a decision is going to be made (mostly a bad one)
