für alle, die jetzt in der Q1 im Bereich "American Drean/Speech analysis" stecken. Hab' meine Klausur vor ein paar Tagen geschrieben (LK):

Speech: Barack Obama: "The 10th Anniversary of 9/11" (gehalten am 11. September 2011)

Aufgaben:
1. Point out how America has coped with 9/11 regarding American ideals, military work and the people's everyday life.
2. Examine how Obama uses argumentative strategies, rhetorical devices and diction in order to praise how America has coped with 9/11 and the aftermaths of it.
3. "But our strength is not measured in our ability to stay in these places; it comes from our commitment to leave those lands to free people and sovereign states, and our desire to move from a decade of war to a future of peace."
Based on this quote by Obama, assess whether America should intervene in other countries around the world to spread American ideals and democracy.
